This morning at 7:51 crews were alerted for a Chimney fire in the Boro.

Micu 58 arrived and advised black smoke coming from the chimney.

Engine 58-1 and Tower 58 arrived to find a one story rancher with thick black smoke and flames coming from the chimney.

Chief 58-1 (Tony Mcgillin)arrived and took command of the incident.

Engine 58-1 crew stretched a hand line to the front of the home while Tower 58 crew ladder the home and made way to the roof.

Baltimore County Engine 451 crew went to the attic looking for fire extension in the walls or attic. Fire was contained to the chimney

No injuries reported and all crews returned home safe.
