| Rose Fire Company #1 recently held its Annual Awards Banquet, recognizing the outstanding dedication, service, and accomplishments of our members throughout 2025. It was a wonderful evening celebrating those who devote their time and commitment to protecting our community.
We were honored to welcome several distinguished guests, including Senator Kristen Phillips-Hill, Mayor Kim Butcher, Council President Andy Bobby, Council Vice President Ryan Ross, Council Member Erica Rearich, Council Member Ginnie Neugebauer, and Harry Gribble of the Eureka Volunteer Fire Department. We appreciate their continued support of our organization.
Special thanks to Shrewsbury Fire Company for covering dispatched calls during the banquet so our members could attend and enjoy the evening. We would also like to thank Tasteful Occasions Catering for providing an excellent dinner.
We are especially grateful to the Rose Fire Company Auxiliary for their generous $20,000 donation toward the purchase of our Hurst Rescue Tools, which will enhance our ability to serve the community.
The evening also included a meaningful Blessing of the Helmets Ceremony, led by Chaplain Bobby Markline, honoring the commitment and safety of those who serve.
Wishing Mackenzie Miller all the best as she begins her journey with the United States Navy! It is a true honor to serve our country, and we are so proud of her dedication and commitment to this important calling.
