It is with profound sadness that the Officers and Members of the Rose Fire Company #1 announce the passing of William "Wild Bill" Copenhaver Jr. Bill served as a long time member of our department serving in the capacity of Fire Police and dedicating countless hours over the years. Bill will be remembered as always having a smile on his face and willing to help anyone who needed him.
Please join us in extending thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. Rest easy Bill, we will take it from here.
I don’t know Bill personally, but saw him at many fire department carnivals and other events. A very dedicated man. He will surely be missed by his fellow volunteers…. and by many people that he didn’t even know. 🫶
